Design

I have been in the field of graphic design for over 15 years. I’ve worked at jobs where I was just a production artist to jobs that involved a lot of creativity. Even as I’ve ventured into photography and illustration over the years, I continue to use my graphic design background on a daily basis. Below are some of the more creative projects in which I’ve been involved.

Design and illustration for Absolut Vodka's 'Limited Edition Bottle Bags' packaging contest on Talenthouse. This design was the competition winner in the Fiji category, and will be used on upcoming packaging for Absolut Vodka. Vector artwork created in Adobe Illustrator, and then colored and textured in Adobe Photoshop.

Some examples for the wayfinding icon project I designed for Lowe's. In total, several hundred icons were designed for usage within their stores to help guide customers.

In 2018, I had the opportunity to work with Universal Music Group and Interscope Records in creating the album design and illustrations for The Struts new album, 'Young & Dangerous.'

Concept artwork for Surly Brewing Co.

Cover design and inner catalog layout for the Suri Spectacular alpaca showcase. For the layout, Adobe InDesign was used and the catalog exceeded 70 pages.

This is an old design was won a national design contest for Layer Magazine in 2010; the concept was to take a couple of stock photos (a football player, helmet, etc.) and use those images to create an old looking football card design, and a modern looking card.
